hello.

Hey there! I’m Frankie. I’m a water sign with an affinity for peppermint tea, black cats, and obviously, a good book. Happy reading!

it’s my favorite time of yeeeeear! ~*spooooooky*~ season. I kicked my October off with a classic creepy read by the Master of Horror himself. I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to read The Shining considering I’m a teeensy bit of a Stephen King fangirl, but I’m totally obsessed with it so far. ▾ ▾ I plan to keep the spooky streak alive throughout this whole month. If anyone has any other Horror recommendations, don’t be shy! would love to add them to my #TBRpile. ▾ ▾ ▾ #bookstagram #bookstagrammer #books #booksofig #IGbooks #horrorbooks #nowreading #horror #read #reading #reading2019 #readstagram #stephenking #theshining #stephenkingbooks #octoberreads #spooky #spookybooks #redrum
raise your hand if you’re the world’s laziest bookstagrammer 🙋🏽‍♀️🙋🏽‍♀️🙋🏽‍♀️ ▾ ▾ I have been terrible at keeping up with this account and blog. TERRIBLE. but, I’m making it a personal goal to start consistently sharing again, one post at a time... bear with me 😅😅 ▾ ▾ in the meantime, here’s a #latergram from LAST October. Lolita fans will know this was a fictionalized version true (and really sad) story that supposedly inspired Nabokov’s novel. I usually consider myself to have a pretty strong stomach for true crime/disturbing content—this book definitely pushed that envelope... anyone else read Rust & Stardust? what’d you think? ▾ ▾ ▾ #bookstagram #bookstagrammer #books #booksofig #IGbooks #Lolita #read #reading #reading2019 #readstagram #rustandstardust #nabokov #IGreads #readingtime #weeklyreading #truecrime #truecrimebooks
late to the popular book party, as usual. I’m halfway through Pachinko and am really enjoying it so far—finally realizing why it’s been recommended to me to many times 🙈 ▾ who else has read Pachinko? what’d you think and what other “must reads” must I read/stop throwing into my #tbr pile!? ▾ ▾ #bookstagram #booksofinstagram #book #books #fiftytwoplus #read #reading #fiction #fictionbooks #TheBookOfEssie #beachreads #weeklyreading #reading #readingchallenge #bookrecommendations #newbooks #reading2019 #IGbooks #IGreads #bibliophile #biblio #botm #bookofthemonth #bookreview
found a quiet lil’ garden on my walk home, so obviously had to stop in for a quick read. this has been in my #tbr pile since Christmas... oops! I love Sy Montgomery’s writing so I know I’m gonna eat this one up. ▾ ▾ #bookstagram #bookoftheweek #bookofthemonth #booksofig #booksofinstagram #book #books #fiftytwoplus #symontgomery #weeklyreading #reading #readingchallenge #reading2018 #bookrecommendations #IGbooks #IGreads #newbooks
hey, bookstagram. it’s been a while. just because I haven’t posted doesn’t mean I haven’t been reading! has anyone read this yet? • • • #botm #bookstagram #books #bookofthemonth #theageoflight #historicalfiction #fiction #read #currentlyreading
I’m late to the party per usual but happy #bannedbooksweek! 🚫⚠️ ▾ ▾ this week, we celebrate the freedom to read and stand together against censorship. so, how many of these banned books have you read and what’s your favorite? Mine’s definitely Lolita... ▾ ▾ #bookstagram #bookoftheweek #bookofthemonth #booksofig #booksofinstagram #book #books #fiftytwoplus #bannedbooks #lolita #harrypotter #catcherintherye #tokillamockingbird #orwell #read #reading #fiction #fictionbooks #weeklyreading #reading #readingchallenge #reading2018 #bookrecommendations #IGbooks #IGreads #thriller #newbooks
